Entranced in the vibrations of a gong bath, beneath my intentions of courage, grace, and love… in the spaces between the sound, I felt it—the true longing: freedom.

The freedom to move, to create, to love, to take up space in every shape and form my soul chooses. And in simply recognizing that, I was already freer.

As it often happens, after an insight, the test arrived. A conflict with a friend. After the shock of receiving a wave of resentment and moving through the pain and mistrust between us, arrogance took over—a defense, a mask, an old instinct kicking in. Then came the realization that I was once again reliving a familiar pattern—the craving for acceptance, the longing to be seen. And in that moment, I knew: this was mine to hold. My own acceptance was the only one that mattered.

I accepted my responsibility, and with it came a warmth—a quiet, unshakable knowing. Respecting myself brought more respect for him, not less. And just like that, love expanded where tension had once been. That shift also brought a gentle sense of freedom.

I couldn’t have imagined that one person could break my heart in so many ways, yet instead of leaving me empty, it left me infinite. My heart didn’t just break—it exploded, creating space for love to pour in, filling me, and pour out.

I felt humble in the not knowing.
Nothing to expect.
Nothing to create.
Nothing to reject.
Nothing to demand.
Nothing to need.
Just space. Just love. Just being.

And then, a week later, still in the process of living a new shape of love, the universe winked back at me. In my sacred dance class, I pulled a card from the Divinatrix deck. A question on it caught my eye—one word stood out, feeling like a key in the ocean of emotions I was navigating: Humble. As I often do, I checked the Gene Keys for a deeper dive, and there it was—Gene Key 31.

It always blows my mind when my lived experiences become an embodied journey of the three frequency bands of a Gene Key.

Arrogance → Leadership → Humility.
